Weekly and monthly luxury car hire in Sydney, with a daily rate that falls the longer you keep the car. Range Rover Sport, BMW X7, Audi Q7, Mercedes GLS, Land Rover Defender and the BMW M3, from $160 a day on day one and markedly less per day by the end of a month. Servicing is ours to handle, payment rolls weekly or monthly in advance, and the full monthly total for your car is shown before you pay.

Book nowCall 0468 011 118WhatsAppHow long-term rates work
Every car in the fleet has a daily rate and a taper. The day-one rate is what the car page shows; from there the per-day figure steps down at several points as the booking gets longer, and the curve is set per car rather than by a single fleet-wide rule. On most of the SUVs the taper is the steeper of our two long-stay curves; on the sports cars it is shallower, because those cars are in demand for weekends. The rates in the table below are the day-one figures. The weekly and monthly totals are not printed here because they change per car and per season, but they are not hidden either: set your dates on the car's page and the tapered total is shown before you pay a cent.
What you can rely on is the direction. A week is always cheaper per day than seven single days, and a month is markedly cheaper per day than a week. Our 1 September 2026 review of Sydney long-stay pricing found the market discounts a week by roughly a quarter to a third off the day rate; our monthly position sits inside that range, and because our day-one rates are lower than the airport prestige operators to begin with, the monthly total on a Range Rover Sport is usually well under theirs even before the taper is applied. Compare the total, not the percentage.
The cars people keep for a month
Long hires favour the cars that are comfortable on day thirty, not just day one: the luxury SUVs, the lifestyle SUVs and, for the person who wants something quicker, the BMW M3. Every car links to its page with the live rate and the tapered total for your dates.

The 2023 Range Rover Sport is the most requested long-term car, and the 2020 seven-seater is the family version of it. The Audi Q7 is a diesel hybrid, which matters over a month of commuting. The Defender and Prado suit a relocation with a trip up the coast in it. The M3 Competition G80 is on the performance tier, needs a driver aged 25 or over, and is the one car in this table whose taper is the shallower curve; it is still cheaper by the week than by the day. The full luxury tier, including the cars not listed here, is on the luxury car hire Sydney page.
Who hires long-term, and what they choose
Insurance replacement
Your own prestige car is off the road for a month and the insurer's courtesy car is a hatchback. A like-for-like Range Rover or X7 for the repair period is a common booking, paid weekly. If the accident was not your fault, you may be entitled to a replacement at the other driver's expense, which is a separate service explained on our accident replacement page.
Relocation and secondment
Arriving in Sydney for a three-month contract, or waiting for a car to clear the wharf. A monthly hire with a kilometre package sized for the commute is simpler than a lease and ends with 30 days' notice rather than a penalty. We deliver to the apartment, meet the flight at Sydney Airport, or hand over at Parramatta.
Visitors for the season
Parents here for six weeks, a film crew on a shoot, a family over for the summer. A seven-seat GLS or X7 for the duration, one handover, one return.
Servicing during a long hire
We schedule servicing so it does not usually fall due inside your rental. If a service or a repair is needed while you have the car, you bring it to our nominated service centre on reasonable notice and we pay for scheduled servicing and fair wear and tear. You are asked to keep the tyres inflated and the washer fluid topped up, to tell us before adding oil or coolant, and to report any warning light or unusual noise straight away. Repairs arising from misuse, damage or a breach are yours, as they would be on any hire.
Paying for a long hire
- Up to one month: the full rental is paid in advance, before handover, by card, cash or bank transfer. Card carries a 2% surcharge; cash and transfer do not.
- Longer than a month: rent is paid in advance on a rolling weekly or monthly basis and must stay at least one month ahead. A missed payment gets written notice and at least 48 hours to fix before anything else happens.
- Ending early: at least 30 days' written notice. You pay rent to the end of the notice period; anything paid beyond that is refunded and the bond is released less anything owing.
- A card is stored on every booking for the bond and for any amount properly payable during the hire, whichever way you pay the rent.
Kilometres on a long hire
Every booking includes a total kilometre allowance shown on the confirmation, and you can add a kilometre package when you book. Over the allowance, extra kilometres are charged by tier: $3 a kilometre on Lifestyle and Luxury cars, $4 on Performance. On a month-long hire the sensible move is to size the package to the commute up front; a package is always cheaper than the per-kilometre rate on return, and we will tell you which package fits if you say roughly how far you drive in a week.
Bond and excess on the luxury, lifestyle and performance tier
The damage excess on this tier is $3,000, and the bond held on your card is the same figure as whichever excess you choose. It is a pre-authorisation, not a charge: the money is reserved, not taken, and released when the car comes back clean. Three cover options bring the excess down, priced per trip rather than per day:
| No cover | Excess $3,000, bond $3,000 |
|---|---|
| Basic cover, $60 | Excess drops to $2,500 |
| Premium cover, $110 | Excess drops to $2,000 |
| Max cover, $160 | Excess drops to $1,200 |
The rules that still apply at month three
Minimum age 20 with a full unrestricted licence, 25 on the M3; provisional and learner drivers cannot drive any of our cars. Identity verification through a trusted third-party provider before handover. New South Wales only unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, sealed roads only, no rideshare or delivery work, and the car does not lend out to anyone not named on the agreement. One additional driver can be added for $60 a trip on the SUVs or $100 on the M3. Petrol cars take 98 RON only; most of the SUVs here are diesel. Tolls and fines during the hire are yours. The complete terms are on the rental policy page.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does long-term luxury car hire cost in Sydney?
Day-one rates on the cars above run from $160 a day for the Range Rover Evoque to $700 for the BMW M3 Competition, and the per-day figure tapers as the booking gets longer. Weekly and monthly totals differ per car and per season, so they are shown on the car's page once you set your dates, before you pay.
Is monthly car hire cheaper than weekly?
Yes, per day. A week is cheaper per day than seven single days, and a month is markedly cheaper per day than a week. The exact taper is set per car; the monthly total for your car and dates is calculated and shown before you pay.
How do I pay for a rental longer than a month?
In advance on a rolling weekly or monthly basis, staying at least one month ahead. Card, cash or bank transfer; card payments carry a 2% surcharge. A card is stored on the booking for the bond either way.
Can I end a long-term hire early?
Yes, with at least 30 days' written notice. You pay rent to the end of the notice period, anything paid beyond that is refunded, and the bond is released less any amounts owing.
Who looks after servicing during a long hire?
We do. Servicing is scheduled around your rental where possible, and if a service or repair is needed while you have the car you bring it to our nominated service centre on reasonable notice. Scheduled servicing and fair wear and tear are at our cost.
What is the kilometre allowance on a monthly hire?
Every booking includes a total allowance shown on your confirmation, and you can add a kilometre package when you book. Over the allowance, extra kilometres are $3 each on Lifestyle and Luxury cars and $4 on Performance cars. Tell us your weekly commute and we will size the package.
Can I use a long-term hire car as an insurance replacement?
Yes, and it is one of the most common long hires we do. If the accident was not your fault you may be entitled to a like-for-like replacement at the other driver's expense, which is a separate service covered on our accident replacement page.
How much is the bond on a long-term hire?
The bond equals the damage excess: $3,000 with no cover on the luxury, lifestyle and performance tiers, or less with Basic, Premium or Max cover. It is a pre-authorisation on your card, not a charge, and it stays in place for the length of the rental.
