A supercar experience in Sydney where you hold the keys for the whole day, not three laps behind a pace car. The Lamborghini Huracan, McLaren 650S and Ferrari FF, plus the G-Wagon and AMG GT for the people who want the presence without the roof at knee height. Self-drive from age 25, from $1,700 a day, with the bond and every fee shown before you pay. Book it for yourself or gift it to someone who has earned it.

Book nowCall 0468 011 118WhatsAppA day, not a lap
Most supercar experiences in Sydney sell you a passenger seat or a handful of laps on a closed circuit, with an instructor and a stopwatch and a photographer at the end. That is a ride, not a drive. Ours is the car, the keys and the day: you collect a Lamborghini Huracan from Mascot in the morning, drive it where you like on the public roads of New South Wales, and bring it back in the evening. Lunch in the Royal National Park, the Old Pacific Highway to Brooklyn, Bells Line of Road over the mountains. Nobody is in the passenger seat unless you put them there.
The trade-off is that you are the driver, so the rules that apply to any hire apply here: 25 or over with a full unrestricted licence, identity verified through a trusted third-party provider before the day, a bond held on your card, and public roads only. In exchange you get something a track session cannot give you, which is a supercar in the real world for a day that is yours. The supercar hire Sydney page covers multi-day trips and the full tier; this page is about the single day.
The cars and daily rates
| Car | Year | Power | Daily rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| McLaren 650S Coupe | 2015 | 478 kW | from $2,600 a day |
| Lamborghini Huracan | 2019 | 449 kW | from $2,500 a day |
| Ferrari FF | 2013 | 486 kW | from $1,700 a day |
| Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon | 2018 | 430 kW | from $1,500 a day |
| Mercedes-AMG GT | 2018 | 350 kW | from $1,500 a day |
Lamborghini Huracan, $2,500 a day
The one people picture when they say supercar. A naturally aspirated V10 behind your head, all-wheel drive that makes it far less intimidating than it looks, and a noise that follows you through every tunnel in Sydney. The Huracan review covers what it is like to live with for a day.

McLaren 650S Coupe, $2,600 a day
The driver's choice. Lighter and sharper than the Lamborghini, a twin-turbo V8 with the fleet's highest power figure, and doors that open upward, which is a small thing until you are parking outside a restaurant. Read the 650S review before choosing between the two.
Ferrari FF, $1,700 a day
The V12 Ferrari with four seats and a boot. If the day is a birthday with two friends in the back, or a run to the Hunter with an overnight bag, the FF is the supercar that makes the whole plan possible rather than a two-seater compromise. The FF review explains why it is the fleet's most under-rated car.
Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon and Mercedes-AMG GT, $1,500 a day each
Both are on the exotic tier, with a smaller bond and lower excess than the supercars, and both are 25 and over. The AMG GT is a front-engined V8 coupe, arguably the better road car for a mountain pass; the G-Wagon is the arrival vehicle. See the exotic car hire page.
Birthdays, milestones and the gift angle
Most supercar days are bought by someone else. A fortieth, a fiftieth, a promotion, a father who has talked about a Ferrari since 1986. The day works as a gift because it is a real thing with a date on it, not a voucher for a lap, and because the person receiving it drives. The price is fixed at booking and nothing is added at handover.
Gift a drive: how it works
- You book and pay. Choose the car and the date on its page, or call us to hold a date if you are not sure the driver is free. The total, bond arrangement included, is shown before you pay.
- You name the driver. Tell us who will be behind the wheel. They need to be 25 or over with a full unrestricted licence.
- The driver verifies later. After the surprise is out, the driver completes identity and licence verification on their phone in a few minutes. It has to be done at least 24 hours before the day, and we cannot hand over to an unverified driver, so do not leave the reveal to the morning.
- Handover on the day. The driver brings the physical licence, the bond hold is placed on a card before the keys change hands, and we walk the car together and photograph it.
Delivery to the house instead of collection from Mascot is a delivery fee, quoted with the booking.
The best roads for a supercar day
Sydney is better for this than its reputation suggests, provided you leave the CBD behind. South, the Royal National Park loop through Audley to Stanwell Tops and the Sea Cliff Bridge is an hour and a half of the best coastal driving in the state. North, the Old Pacific Highway from Berowra to Brooklyn is the classic run, quiet on a weekday morning. West, Bells Line of Road over the Blue Mountains is the long one, with lunch at Medlow Bath on the way back. We wrote up the loops with timing and coffee stops for the M3 and every word applies to a Huracan: the best Sydney roads for a fast car.
Two practical notes. The Huracan and McLaren have very little ground clearance, so read the driveway before you commit to it. And every car has a kilometre allowance on the confirmation; the supercar tier's over-allowance rate is $15 a kilometre, so tell us the plan and we will set the allowance to match.
What the bond means
A supercar is insured like any other car in the fleet, and if it is damaged you contribute the excess, not the car. On the supercar tier that excess is $10,000 with no cover, and the bond held on your card is the same figure: a pre-authorisation, reserved rather than charged, released after the car is inspected on return. Three cover options bring the excess and the bond down, and on a day when you are handing a Lamborghini to a first-timer, Max cover is usually the sensible choice.
Bond and excess on the supercar tier
The damage excess on this tier is $10,000, and the bond held on your card is the same figure as whichever excess you choose. It is a pre-authorisation, not a charge: the money is reserved, not taken, and released when the car comes back clean. Three cover options bring the excess down, priced per trip rather than per day:
| No cover | Excess $10,000, bond $10,000 |
|---|---|
| Basic cover, $250 | Excess drops to $8,000 |
| Premium cover, $320 | Excess drops to $7,000 |
| Max cover, $500 | Excess drops to $5,000 |
The G-Wagon and AMG GT sit on the exotic tier: $5,000 excess with no cover, $2,500 with Max cover at $230 a trip. The rental policy has the full table.
The excess only protects you when the car is used as agreed. Track use, burnouts, drifting, unsealed roads, a driver not on the agreement or a drink before driving all remove the cap and leave you liable for the full cost. The car has GPS tracking.
Would rather be driven?
If the birthday person is under 25, unlicensed, or would rather arrive than drive, all five cars are available with a chauffeur: same car, same day, no bond and no licence requirement. See chauffeur car hire Sydney.
Price beat guarantee. Found the same car cheaper in Sydney? Send us the written quote and we will match it or beat it by $20 a day. Terms and how it works.
Giving it as a gift?
You book and pay, name the driver, and they verify their licence later. Call us and we will set it up so the surprise holds.

The bond held on your card equals the excess of the cover you choose. It is a pre-authorisation, released after return.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a supercar experience cost in Sydney?
With us it is the car's daily rate: $1,700 a day for the Ferrari FF, $2,500 for the Lamborghini Huracan and $2,600 for the McLaren 650S, for the whole day on public roads. The G-Wagon and AMG GT are $1,500 a day. Optional cover, delivery and a 2% card surcharge are the only additions, all shown before you pay.
Do I drive the supercar myself?
Yes. This is self-drive: you hold the keys for the day and drive where you like on sealed public roads in New South Wales. It is not a passenger ride or a set of laps with an instructor.
What is the minimum age for a supercar experience?
25, with a full unrestricted licence, on every car on this page. Provisional and learner licences cannot drive any of our cars. Under 25 or unlicensed guests can have the same car and day chauffeured.
Can I buy a supercar day as a gift?
Yes. You book and pay and name the driver. The driver verifies their identity and licence on their phone after the surprise, at least 24 hours before the day, and brings the physical licence to handover.
How much is the bond on a supercar?
It equals the excess of the cover you choose: $10,000 with no cover, $8,000 with Basic, $7,000 with Premium or $5,000 with Max cover. It is a hold on your card, not a charge, released after the car is returned and inspected.
Where are the best roads to drive a supercar near Sydney?
The Royal National Park loop to the Sea Cliff Bridge, the Old Pacific Highway from Berowra to Brooklyn, and Bells Line of Road over the Blue Mountains. Our guide to the best Sydney roads for a fast car maps each loop with timing and stops.
Is there a kilometre limit on the day?
Every booking includes an allowance shown on your confirmation. Over it, the supercar tier is charged at $15 a kilometre, so tell us your route when you book and we will size the allowance to it.
Can I take the supercar on a track?
No. Track days, racing, drifting, burnouts and driver-training events are prohibited on every car we hire, and using one that way removes the excess cap and triggers a prohibited-use fee. The day is for the road.
