About these prices. Figures on this page are a guide only: they are indicative from rates, based on weekday pricing, and were correct at the time of publishing. Rates move with the season, the day of the week and how long you book for, and longer hires taper. The live figure for any car is on that car's own page, and the exact total for your dates, including the bond, any delivery and Young Driver Cover, is confirmed before you pay.

Why Mascot changes airport car hire

The rental counters at Kingsford Smith are built for volume: a queue, a shuttle to a car park, a hatchback that may or may not be the one in the photo. Prestige hire works differently, and ours is set up around the airport on purpose. The Mascot depot sits a few minutes' drive from both the T1 international and the T2 and T3 domestic terminals, on the city side of the airport. That is where the Lamborghini Huracan, the McLaren 650S and the Ferrari FF are kept, and it is the base the luxury SUVs are delivered from. Land, collect your bag, message us, and the car is either waiting at the terminal or a short ride away.

The result is a handover that takes about ten minutes and happens with you present: we walk the car together, photograph its condition, fuel and odometer, and you sign the record. No counter, no upsell, no swap to a lesser car because the one you booked went out that morning. Our luxury car hire Sydney page covers the tier in full; this page is about doing it from the airport.

Meet and greet: how it works with a flight number

When you book, give us the flight number. We watch the flight, not the clock. For a luxury SUV delivered to the terminal, one of us meets you at the arrivals pick-up area for your terminal with the car, the keys and the handover report ready. For a supercar, the handover is done at the Mascot depot, where the car can be walked around properly and the bond hold placed without a queue of taxis behind us; a short transfer from the terminal is arranged as part of the booking.

Bring the physical licence you verified with. Identity verification through a trusted third-party provider happens after you book and before you fly, so nothing at the airport depends on a form. If the booking was made inside 24 hours, the verification simply has to be done before the keys change hands.

If the flight is late

Because we track the flight number, a delay moves the handover time with it. A normal delay costs you nothing extra and needs no call. If the flight is cancelled or diverted, message or call us as soon as you know and we will reset the booking to the new arrival; the car is held for you rather than released. Our hours are 7am to 9pm seven days, so a red-eye arrival outside those hours needs to be agreed when you book rather than on the night.

The airport fleet and daily rates

Three supercars based at Mascot, the G-Wagon, and the four luxury SUVs most often booked by people flying in. Every car links to its own page with the live rate and availability.

CarYearPowerDaily rate
Ferrari FF2013486 kWfrom $1,700 a day
Lamborghini Huracan2019449 kWfrom $2,500 a day
McLaren 650S Coupe2015478 kWfrom $2,600 a day
Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon2018430 kWfrom $1,500 a day
Range Rover Sport2023250 kWfrom $500 a day
BMW X72019195 kWfrom $430 a day
Audi Q7 Quattro2021170 kWfrom $400 a day
Mercedes-Benz GLS2019243 kWfrom $450 a day

The 2023 Range Rover Sport is the car most business travellers ask for by name. The BMW X7, Audi Q7 and Mercedes GLS are all seven-seaters, which is what a family arriving with luggage needs; the 2020 Range Rover Sport also seats seven and is on the luxury tier page. The G-Wagon is the arrival car: the one people hire when the point is stepping out of it at the hotel.

Supercars from Sydney Airport

All three supercars are kept at Mascot, which is why a Huracan or McLaren from Sydney Airport is simpler with us than a Range Rover is with the majors. The Huracan is $2,500 a day, the McLaren 650S $2,600, and the Ferrari FF, the only one of the three with four seats and a boot that takes two cabin bags, $1,700. Drivers must be 25 or over with a full unrestricted licence. The supercar hire Sydney page has the cover options, the excess and the roads worth driving; the supercar experience page is for a single day rather than a trip.

Luxury SUVs delivered to the terminal

The luxury SUVs are the cars that meet you at arrivals. Delivery to Sydney Airport is priced by distance from Mascot, which makes it the cheapest delivery we do, and the fee is shown with the booking. From age 20 with a full licence; drivers aged 20 to 24 pay Young Driver Cover at +25% of the daily hire. Every booking includes a kilometre allowance printed on the confirmation, and a Hunter Valley or South Coast week can be quoted with a larger allowance up front.

Returning is the same in reverse: tell us the departing flight, meet us at the terminal at the agreed time, and we inspect the car with you against the handover photographs before you walk in to check in. Allow twenty minutes. There is a 30-minute grace period on the return time; if traffic on the M5 is doing what it does, call.

Bond and excess

The bond equals your damage excess, and the excess depends on the car's tier and the cover you choose before the trip: $3,000 with no cover on the Lifestyle, Luxury and Performance tiers, $5,000 on Exotic and $10,000 on Supercar, each reducible with Basic, Premium or Max cover priced per trip. The bond is a pre-authorisation on your card, not a charge, released after the car is returned and inspected. The full table, the kilometre rates and everything else that applies are on the rental policy page.

Western Sydney Airport

Western Sydney International (WSI) at Badgerys Creek is due to open to passengers in late 2026, and Parramatta, where our exotic and performance cars are based, is far closer to it than Mascot is. We will meet flights there from opening day. Our car hire at Western Sydney Airport page covers that side of the city.

Paying, and what you will not be charged

Pay the rental by card, cash or bank transfer. Card payments carry a 2% surcharge; cash and bank transfer do not. Tolls on the airport roads and the M5 during the hire are yours, plus a $15 toll administration fee per booking. The bond is a hold, not a charge, and no surcharge applies to it. Nothing is added at handover that was not on the booking screen.

Price beat guarantee. Found the same car cheaper in Sydney? Send us the written quote and we will match it or beat it by $20 a day. Terms and how it works.

Flying into Sydney with a group?

The seven-seat Range Rover Sport, BMW X7 and Mercedes GLS take a family and the luggage in one trip. Say how many of you there are and we will match the car.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I hire a luxury car at Sydney Airport?

Yes. Our Mascot depot is minutes from both the international and domestic terminals. Luxury SUVs are delivered to the terminal to meet your flight, and the supercars are collected at the depot. Rates start at $160 a day for the Range Rover Evoque and run to $2,600 for the McLaren 650S.

How does the meet and greet work?

Give us your flight number when you book. We track the flight, meet you at the arrivals pick-up area for your terminal with the car, walk it with you, photograph its condition and hand over the keys. It takes about ten minutes. Supercar handovers are done at the Mascot depot a few minutes away.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Nothing you need to manage. We watch the flight number, so a delay moves the handover time with it at no extra cost. If the flight is cancelled or diverted, call or message us and we hold the car for your new arrival.

Is there a delivery fee to Sydney Airport?

Delivery is priced by distance from our Mascot depot, so the airport is the cheapest delivery we offer. The exact fee is shown with the booking before you pay. Collecting a supercar from the depot itself has no delivery fee.

Which supercars are available at Sydney Airport?

The Lamborghini Huracan ($2,500 a day), McLaren 650S Coupe ($2,600) and Ferrari FF ($1,700) are all based at Mascot. Drivers must be 25 or over with a full unrestricted licence, and the supercar bond equals the excess of the cover you choose.

What is the minimum age for airport car hire?

20 with a full unrestricted licence on the luxury SUVs, with Young Driver Cover at +25% of the daily hire for drivers aged 20 to 24. The G-Wagon and the three supercars need a driver aged 25 or over. Provisional and learner licences cannot drive any of our cars.

Can I return the car to the airport?

Yes. Tell us the departing flight and we meet you at the terminal at the agreed time, inspect the car with you and release the bond hold after the check. Allow twenty minutes before you head in to check in.

Will you meet flights at Western Sydney Airport?

Yes, from the day WSI opens to passengers in late 2026. Our Parramatta base is much closer to Badgerys Creek than Mascot is, and the exotic and performance cars are kept there.
