Lamborghini hire in Sydney at Drive Tribe means the Lamborghini Huracan: a mid-engined, naturally aspirated V10 supercar with all-wheel drive and two seats. It is supercar tier for drivers 25 and over, collected from Mascot or delivered anywhere in Sydney, and it can also be booked with one of our chauffeurs, which is how younger passengers get to ride in one.

Book nowEnquire nowWhy hire a Lamborghini in Sydney
Nobody hires a Lamborghini to blend in. It is the loudest-looking car on any street it drives down, a wedge of sharp angles that stops conversations at cafe tables. Where a Ferrari says money and a McLaren says engineering, a Lamborghini says theatre, and it has done since the Countach was on bedroom posters.
That makes it the right car for a specific kind of day: a birthday that should feel huge, an arrival people will talk about, a shoot where the car is the star. It is less suited to quiet errands. Every set of lights becomes a photo opportunity for someone else, and you need to be comfortable with that.
In Sydney traffic, a modern Lamborghini is easier than it looks. The Huracan has light steering, a smooth dual-clutch gearbox and all-wheel drive, and it will potter through Surry Hills at 40 km/h without complaint. The hard parts are the width, the low nose and the view out of the back, all of which we cover below.
The Lamborghini in our fleet: the Huracan
We have one Lamborghini, and it is the one most people mean when they say they want to drive a Lamborghini. The Huracan arrived in 2014 as the replacement for the Gallardo. Like most Lamborghinis it takes its name from a famous fighting bull.
Lamborghini Huracan
The Lamborghini Huracan is a mid-engined two-seater built around a 5.2-litre V10 with no turbochargers. Our figures: 449 kW, 560 Nm, 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, all-wheel drive, and a range of roughly 600 km on a tank. Power goes through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The numbers matter less than the noise. A naturally aspirated V10 is a rare thing now, and this one revs hard and sharp to the top of its range, with a howl that fills a tunnel. Turbo cars can be quicker in the mid-range, but few sound anything like it. At low revs it is calm enough for a suburban street; above that it is pure event.

All-wheel drive makes the Huracan more approachable than its looks suggest. It puts its power down cleanly out of slow corners and feels secure on a damp road, where a rear-drive supercar would ask for more care. The steering is quick and the car turns in eagerly, but it never feels nervous at sensible speeds.
The cabin is snug, with leather and Alcantara, a digital instrument display and a starter button under a red flip-up cover on the centre console, a detail that never gets old. Two people fit comfortably. Luggage is a different story: the small front boot takes soft bags, not suitcases.
The Huracan is supercar tier, 25 and over, based at Mascot near the airport, and it can be booked self-drive or chauffeured. Our Lamborghini Huracan hire guide goes further into the car, how it drives and what to expect on the day.
What the Huracan is good at, and what it is not
- Good at: making an entrance, sounding extraordinary, feeling special at any speed, and staying composed in the wet thanks to all-wheel drive.
- Good at: short, scenic drives with a stop for lunch, and anything involving a camera.
- Not good at: luggage, passengers beyond one, steep driveways, tight multi-storey car parks and seeing what is behind you.
- Not good at: being ignored. If you want a fast car that nobody notices, this is the wrong one.
The rest of our supercar and exotic line-up
Because we run one Lamborghini, it helps to know the cars people compare it with. Each of these is a real Drive Tribe car, and each suits a situation the Huracan does not.
Ferrari FF V12: when you need more seats
The Ferrari FF V12 is a four-seat, all-wheel-drive grand tourer with a 6.3-litre V12: 486 kW, 683 Nm and 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. It has a proper boot and rear seats adults can use on a shorter run. Choose it over the Huracan for two couples, a wedding party or a weekend away. It is supercar tier, 25 and over, based at Mascot, self-drive or chauffeured.

McLaren 650S Coupe: the sharper drive
The McLaren 650S Coupe is the precision instrument of the group: a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 with 478 kW and 678 Nm, rear-wheel drive, a carbon-fibre tub and 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds. It rides better than you would believe, and it is quicker than the Huracan, but it is less of a spectacle. Choose it if the drive matters more than the arrival. Supercar tier, 25 and over, Mascot, self-drive or chauffeured.

Mercedes-AMG GT: supercar looks, a step down in tier
The Mercedes-AMG GT is a front-engined, rear-drive two-seater with a twin-turbo V8: 350 kW, 630 Nm and 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds. It has a long bonnet, a deep exhaust note and a more everyday feel than a mid-engined car. It sits in the Exotic tier rather than Supercar, still needs a driver aged 25 or over, is based at Parramatta and can be booked self-drive or chauffeured.

Every one of these is on our supercar hire page, and the full list is on our fleet page. If your first choice is taken, we never move you down a tier without saying so; we tell you plainly what comparable car is free, if any.
Which car to choose
The Huracan is the answer for a lot of situations, but not all of them. A quick guide:
- A couple, one big day: the Huracan. It is the most dramatic car we have.
- First time in a supercar: the Huracan or the FF. All-wheel drive in both makes the first hour less daunting.
- Two couples or a family: the Ferrari FF, the only four-seat supercar in the fleet.
- A drive on a great road: the McLaren 650S, if outright precision is the point.
- A client meeting: the Mercedes-AMG GT. Fast and handsome, without a Lamborghini's volume.
- A weekend away with luggage: the FF. The Huracan's front boot will not take a suitcase.
Lamborghini hire for occasions
Birthdays and 21sts
A Huracan is the car people remember from a milestone birthday. If the birthday person is 25 or over with a full licence, they can drive it. For a 21st, book it chauffeured: our driver drives, the guest of honour rides, and there is no age limit for the passenger.
School formals
Formal students cannot drive a supercar, so a formal in the Huracan is always chauffeured. Remember it has two seats, so our driver plus one student. For a couple arriving together, the Ferrari FF chauffeured seats three passengers. Our formal car hire page explains how formal bookings and timings work.
Weddings
The Huracan works for the couple's getaway or for a groom who wants an arrival, rather than for a bride in a full gown, which will not enjoy a low mid-engined two-seater. For the bridal car itself, look at our wedding car hire options.
Photoshoots, music videos and content
Few cars earn a camera's attention like a Lamborghini. Book it for the day, plan locations around soft morning or late light, and allow time to move between spots. Commercial shoots on busy public streets may need a council permit, which the organiser arranges. Our car hire for photoshoots page covers how content bookings work.

Corporate events and gifts
For team days, client rewards or a present, the supercar experience page explains the options. A chauffeured Huracan also makes a memorable airport pick-up, with Mascot a few minutes from the terminals.
Delivery, collection and chauffeur options
You can collect the Huracan from its base at Mascot, close to the airport and a quick run to the CBD. Or we deliver it anywhere in Sydney: home, hotel, office or venue. Delivery is priced by suburb and shown in the booking total before you pay, and the handover walk-around is identical wherever it happens. Our supercar hire in Bondi and supercar hire in Parramatta pages cover two popular delivery areas.
A chauffeured Huracan works differently. One of our drivers brings the car and stays with it for the window you book. It is quoted by the hour with the driver included, and tolls during the booking are in the quote. There is no bond, no licence check and no age limit for the passenger. The chauffeur car hire page has the detail, and you can ask for a quote by message from the car page.
How booking, the ID check and the bond work
Booking online takes a few minutes:
- Choose your dates and pick-up or delivery. The car page shows the rate, the kilometre allowance, the minimum age and the excess.
- Pick a booking type. Flexible is refundable in full more than 72 hours before pick-up. Saver is cheaper and non-refundable. Instant confirms on the spot and is non-refundable.
- Choose cover. Optional cover lowers the excess. The total, the bond and the excess are on screen before you commit.
- Pay. The rental can be paid by card, cash or bank transfer. A card is stored on every booking because the bond needs one.
- Verify your ID. A link arrives from a trusted third-party provider. You photograph your licence and take a live selfie on your phone, and the document is checked against the Australian Government Document Verification Service.
Complete the check at least 24 hours before the trip, or before handover if you book inside 24 hours. No car goes to an unverified driver, and the licence is checked again in person. You need a full licence: provisional and learner licences cannot drive our cars. Overseas licences need an International Driving Permit or an accredited English translation unless already in English.
The bond is a pre-authorisation hold on your stored card, placed before handover, not a charge. It equals the damage excess for the booking, which depends on the tier and the cover you choose. It is released after the car is returned, inspected and anything owing is settled, though some banks take a few days to clear it. Our rental policy and how it works page set out every step.
At handover we walk around the car with you and record condition, fuel and odometer in a timestamped report with photos you confirm. On a car this low and this wide, that report protects you as much as it protects us.
Where to drive a Lamborghini near Sydney
The Huracan is happiest on smooth, sealed roads with a mix of bends and scenery, driven early before traffic builds. Tolls and fines are the driver's, and every one of these roads is policed.
The eastern beaches loop
From Mascot, head to Bondi, along Campbell Parade, through Dover Heights to Vaucluse and Watsons Bay, and back via Rose Bay and New South Head Road. It is short, it is scenic and it is where the car is seen. Go at sunrise on a weekend; by mid-morning it is a car park.
Grand Pacific Drive
South through the Royal National Park and over the Sea Cliff Bridge. The V10 sounds superb in the park, and the coastal views are the best near Sydney. Limits are low and weekend cyclists are everywhere, so choose a weekday.
Bells Line of Road
From Richmond up through Kurrajong Heights to Bilpin, known for its apple orchards, with the botanic garden at Mount Tomah a little further on. The bends are long and open. Leave early, and watch for trucks and wildlife.
The Old Pacific Highway
North of Berowra the old highway drops to the Hawkesbury River and climbs through bushland to Mount White. It is popular and patrolled, so enjoy the noise at legal speeds.
School zones apply on school days, generally 8 to 9.30am and 2.30 to 4pm, and mobile speed cameras are common on all of these routes.
Tips for driving a Lamborghini hire car
- Mind the nose. Take driveways, speed humps and car-park ramps slowly and at an angle. Ask us at handover about the best way into your own driveway.
- Mind the width. The Huracan is much wider than an everyday car. Leave space in lanes, and park end-on in a wide bay rather than squeezing in beside a kerb.
- Use the drive modes. The switch on the steering wheel selects Strada, Sport and Corsa. Strada is right for Sydney; Corsa is a track setting and has no place on a public road.
- Learn the wheel before you move. The indicators and several other controls sit on the steering wheel rather than on stalks. We run through them at handover.
- Let it warm up. Drive gently for the first ten minutes before using high revs.
For the first drive, give yourself an easy half hour. Take the car outside peak times, set the seat and mirrors before you move, and head for a quiet road rather than straight into the CBD. Most drivers relax within ten minutes, once the gearbox and steering stop feeling unfamiliar. The view behind is limited, so reverse slowly, use the mirrors, and ask a passenger to spot you in tight spaces.
The Huracan takes 98 RON premium unleaded only. Return it with the same fuel level it left with; there is a 30-minute grace period on the return time, followed by an inspection against the handover report. Only drivers named and verified on the agreement may drive, and you can add one verified additional driver. The rules are the same as for every car we hire: sealed public roads in NSW only, no track days, no burnouts, no rideshare work.
Your own Lamborghini off the road?
If your own Lamborghini is off the road after an accident that was not your fault, a like-for-like replacement may be recoverable from the at-fault driver's insurer. Our accident replacement car page explains how it works.
Book the Huracan
The Huracan can be booked online, with its rate, bond and every fee shown on the car page and in the booking total before you pay. For a chauffeured quote or anything the booking form does not cover, call 0468 011 118, seven days, 7am to 9pm, or use our contact page. Where we operate is on our locations page.
Under 25? Ride instead
A chauffeured Huracan needs no licence and no bond, and there is no age limit for the passenger. Ask for an hourly quote from the car page or by phone.
Book nowEnquire nowFrequently Asked Questions
Can I hire a Lamborghini in Sydney at 21?
Not to drive yourself. The Huracan is supercar tier, and every supercar needs a driver aged 25 or over with a full licence. At 21 you can still ride in one: book it chauffeured and our driver takes the wheel. There is no age limit for passengers on a chauffeured booking.
Which Lamborghini do you have?
A Lamborghini Huracan: a mid-engined two-seater with a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10, 449 kW, 560 Nm, all-wheel drive and 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. It is based at Mascot and can be booked self-drive or chauffeured. It is the only Lamborghini in our fleet.
Do you deliver the Lamborghini?
Yes. We deliver anywhere in Sydney, including homes, hotels, offices and venues. Delivery is priced by suburb and shown in the booking total before you pay. You can also collect it from Mascot, near Sydney Airport. The handover walk-around and report are the same either way.
Is there a bond on Lamborghini hire?
Yes. It is a pre-authorisation hold on your stored card, placed before handover, not a charge. It equals the damage excess for the booking, which depends on the tier and the cover you choose. It is released after the car is returned, inspected and anything owing is settled. Chauffeured bookings have no bond.
Can I hire the Huracan with a driver?
Yes. One of our drivers brings the car and stays with it for the booked window. It is quoted by the hour with the driver included, and tolls during the booking are in the quote. The Huracan has two seats, so a chauffeured booking carries one passenger alongside our driver.
Can we use the Lamborghini for a school formal?
Yes, chauffeured only, because formal students are well under the minimum age to drive a supercar. Our driver drives and the student rides. The Huracan has room for one passenger, so a couple arriving together is better suited to the four-seat Ferrari FF, also available chauffeured.
What licence do I need?
A full driver licence. Provisional and learner licences cannot drive our cars. Overseas licences need an International Driving Permit or an accredited English translation unless already in English. You also complete an online ID check with a live selfie at least 24 hours before the trip, and the licence is checked again at handover.
How much luggage fits in a Huracan?
Not much. The engine sits behind the seats, so the only luggage space is a small front boot that takes soft bags rather than suitcases. For a weekend away with real luggage, the four-seat Ferrari FF is the better choice from our supercar range.
What fuel does the Lamborghini use?
98 RON premium unleaded only. Return the car with the same fuel level recorded in the handover report. The Huracan has a range of roughly 600 km on a tank, though a V10 driven enthusiastically or sitting in city traffic will use fuel much faster than that.
Can I drive the Huracan on a track or at the beach?
No. Our cars are for sealed public roads in NSW only. Track days, burnouts, rideshare work and unsealed roads, including beaches and fire trails, are excluded. For a memorable drive, try the Grand Pacific Drive or Bells Line of Road early on a weekday.
