- Delivered across Sydney
- Bond and fees shown before you pay
- Never swapped to a lesser car
Both BMW M3 Competition F80s are based at Parramatta, which makes this the one suburb where the car you want is likely to actually be available. It is also a depot rather than a delivery address, so the hire starts without a delivery fee and with the motorway already in front of you.

Part of our sports car hire Sydney guide.
Collect from the depot
No delivery fee, and you are on the motorway inside five minutes. Tell us the date and we will have it ready.
“Awesome fleet of luxury cars. Very professional to deal with. I will definitely use them again.”

Two of the Same Car Is the Real Advantage
Most performance hire in Sydney is single-unit. There is one of each car, and if it is booked, you are choosing between something else and another weekend.
We run two BMW M3 Competition F80s, and both live at Parramatta. Same generation, same specification, both white. If one is out, the other is genuinely the same hire rather than a substitute you settle for.
For a car this specifically requested, that changes the odds considerably on a contested Saturday. It is the single strongest practical reason to look here rather than elsewhere for an M3.
It also means we can put both out together, which is worth knowing if two of you want the same car on the same day. That is not something most operators can do in this tier.
The Depot Saves More Than the Delivery Fee
Collecting rather than being delivered removes the fee, which on a day hire is a real proportion of the cost.

The less obvious saving is time. A delivered car arrives inside a window. A collected car leaves when you decide to leave, and for a drive where an early start is most of the point, that is worth more than the money.
The third thing is that you can look at the car first. For most hires that is unnecessary. For a performance car, where condition and specification actually matter to the person hiring it, some people want to see it. Say so and we will have it out.
Where to Point It From Here
Parramatta's advantage over the eastern suburbs is that you are already past the worst of the traffic and on the motorway network.
South-west, the run towards the Southern Highlands opens up quickly once you are through the outer suburbs, and it is the direction with the most sustained good road for the least time spent getting there.
West towards the Blue Mountains is the obvious one. The climb up is genuinely enjoyable and the descent back in the afternoon is better. It is a full day rather than a morning.
North-west into the Hills and beyond towards the Hawkesbury is the underrated option. Less traffic than either of the above, and close enough that it works as a half-day rather than a commitment.
All three are materially easier from here than from the coast, which is the whole argument for starting at this end of the city.
Which Car, Honestly
The Performance tier has four genuinely different characters and the badges do not tell you much.
The M3 Competition F80 is the complete one. It is fast, it is precise, and because it has four doors, five seats and a boot it also functions as a normal car for the rest of the weekend. If you are only going to hire one performance car ever, this is the sensible choice.
The Mustang is the friendlier one. Less demanding, more theatrical, and considerably easier to enjoy at legal speeds, which in New South Wales is a genuine consideration rather than a consolation.
The Camaro 2SS is the rare one. There are very few on Sydney roads and it draws attention accordingly. The trade is visibility, which is poor by modern standards.
The Taycan Turbo is the technically most impressive and the least traditional. If the appeal of a performance car is the noise, it is the wrong choice. If the appeal is the acceleration, nothing else here is close.
450 Horsepower Through the Rear Wheels
The M3, the Mustang and the Camaro are all rear-wheel drive with substantial power, and a lot of people hiring them have never driven anything similar.
In the dry, driven with any sense, they are entirely manageable and modern traction control does a great deal of quiet work in the background. In the wet, on cold tyres, they demand more respect than a normal car, and the moment that catches people out is almost always a roundabout or a junction rather than a corner at speed.
Two pieces of genuinely useful advice. Give the tyres a few kilometres before asking anything of them, because cold performance tyres have noticeably less grip than warm ones. And be deliberate with the throttle in the wet at low speed, which is where the power is most disproportionate to the situation.
If the forecast is bad and this is your first time in something like this, the Taycan is all-wheel drive and removes most of it.
Speed Enforcement Is Worth Budgeting For
The roads worth driving in New South Wales are also among the most heavily monitored, with fixed cameras, mobile enforcement and average-speed monitoring on some of the highway sections.
Fines follow the hire back to the driver on the booking. That is not a hire charge, it is a consequence, and it is worth being realistic about rather than discovering weeks later.
The practical point is that these cars are enjoyable well below the limit in a way that a normal car is not. The Mustang in particular is most of the experience at 80 kilometres an hour. The temptation to find out what the top of the range feels like is exactly where the expensive part starts.
Booking, Age and the Numbers
Minimum driver age is 20 with a full licence on the Performance tier, except the BMW M3s, which need 25. Young Driver Cover is +25% of the daily hire under 25 and does not apply at 25 or over.
The bond is a hold on a card rather than a charge, and the damage excess is $5,000. Everything, including any delivery if you are not collecting, is shown before you pay.
Weekend dates are the ones that go. If you want a specific car on a specific Saturday, particularly in spring, book earlier than feels necessary.
What a Day Hire Actually Looks Like
Worth setting out, because people frequently under-plan the day and end up doing less driving than they expected.
Collection takes about fifteen minutes. We photograph the car with you present, check the licence against the booking, and walk through fuel and kilometres so the return conditions are understood rather than assumed. It is not a long process but it is not instant either.
From here you are on the motorway in under five minutes, which is the single biggest advantage this depot has. From the eastern suburbs the equivalent is closer to forty minutes of suburban traffic before anything opens up.
A realistic Southern Highlands round trip is five to six hours with stops. The Blue Mountains is a comfortable full day. Both work as a single-day hire with an early start and neither works well if you collect at eleven.
Return is quicker than collection - the car is photographed again and that is broadly it, assuming fuel is where it was agreed.
Returning It
Two things make the return straightforward and both are decided at the start.
Fuel: the return condition is agreed at handover. Premium unleaded is required on these engines rather than preferred, and putting standard fuel in is a genuine problem rather than a minor one. If you are returning early in the morning, fill it the night before.
Condition: the car is photographed at both ends with you present, which is why disputes are rare. There is a timestamped record of how it left and how it came back rather than two conflicting recollections. Ordinary use is ordinary use. What causes problems is kerbed wheels, which is the most common damage on returned performance cars and is entirely avoidable by parking further out than feels necessary.
If something happens during the hire, tell us during the hire. It is always a smaller conversation raised early than discovered at return.
Two Cars, Two Drivers, One Weekend
Because both M3s are here, a request we get from this depot that we cannot fill from anywhere else is two of the same car on the same day.
That is worth knowing if there are two of you who both want to drive rather than one driving and one sitting in the passenger seat. Two identical cars on the same road is a genuinely different day out from taking turns, and it removes the argument about whose turn it is.
Each car needs its own named driver meeting the age and licence rules, and each carries its own bond and, if the driver is under 25, its own Young Driver Cover. It is two hires rather than one hire with a spare key, and it is priced that way.
What we can do is hold them together so they go out as a pair, which matters because otherwise you are relying on two separate bookings happening to land on the same Saturday.
If that is the plan, say so when you book rather than booking twice and hoping.
Adding a Second Driver
A more common version of the same question: one car, two people who both want to drive it.
That works, and the requirement is simply that both are named on the booking and both meet the rules independently. A 26-year-old and a 22-year-old cannot share an M3, because every named driver must meet the 25 minimum. On a Mustang they can, and the 22-year-old triggers Young Driver Cover for the hire, because the cover follows the youngest named driver rather than whoever happens to be holding the keys.
What does not work is adding a driver informally on the day. If somebody is not on the booking and something happens while they are driving, the position is considerably worse than most people assume. It costs nothing to name them properly at the start.
Tell us both names and ages when you book and we will price it correctly first time.

If the BMW M3 Competition F80 is booked
We never move you down a tier. If your dates are taken, these are the performance cars we will offer instead, and we will tell you plainly if none of them is free rather than substituting something lesser on the day.
BMW M3 Competition F80
- 450hp
- RWD
- Two of them
- Collect here
We run two and both are based at Parramatta, so availability on a given weekend is better than anything else in the tier. Collect rather than pay delivery.
Chevrolet Camaro 2SS
- V8
- RWD
- Rare here
- Min age 20
A proper V8 and a genuinely uncommon sight on Sydney roads. Loud, theatrical, and the one people photograph in a car park.
See it before you book
The cars are here. If you want to look at the actual one you would be driving, say so and we will arrange it.
Guide rates, weekday winter pricing. Longer hires taper; the exact total for your dates is shown before you pay.
The bond held on your card equals the excess of the cover you choose. It is a pre-authorisation, released after return.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have more than one M3?
Two BMW M3 Competition F80s, both based at Parramatta. They are the same generation and specification, so if one is out the other is usually the same experience rather than a downgrade. That is unusual in this tier and it is the reason availability here is better.
What is the minimum driver age?
20 with a full licence for the Mustang, the Camaro and the Taycan. Both M3s need 25. The 25 minimum applies to the Exotic and Supercar tiers. Young Driver Cover (+25% of the daily hire) applies to any driver under 25.
How much does collecting save?
Delivery is priced by distance from the depot, so collecting removes it entirely. On a weekend hire that is a straightforward saving, and it also means you set off when you are ready rather than waiting on a delivery window.
Which way should I drive from Parramatta?
West and south-west get you to open road fastest. The motorway network here is direct in a way it is not from the eastern suburbs, so you can be out of the traffic in twenty minutes rather than an hour.
Is the M3 or the Mustang the better first performance hire?
The Mustang is more forgiving and more theatrical. The M3 is faster, sharper and more demanding. If this is your first time in something with this much power, the Mustang is the easier introduction and the M3 is the better car.
Can I hire for just a Saturday?
Yes, and single-day weekend hires are the most common booking in this tier. They are also the most contested, so book earlier than you would for a weekday.
