- Delivered across Sydney
- Bond and fees shown before you pay
- Never swapped to a lesser car
If you live in Bankstown and you have ever tried to hire something genuinely special, you already know how the story goes. The listings are all at the airport or in the city, the collection window is during business hours, and you spend the better part of a morning on the M5 or a train to Mascot before you have driven a single kilometre of the car you are paying for. By the time you are behind the wheel you have already lost half a day.

Part of our exotic car hire Sydney guide.
Exotic hire, delivered to Bankstown
No trip to the airport and no depot queue. Tell us the dates and the address.
We built our host network to remove that entire step. Drive Tribe runs physical depots at Mascot and Parramatta, but exotic car hire in Bankstown works differently: the car comes to you. Your driveway, your street, your office car park in Chullora or Milperra. The handover happens where you are, the keys change hands, and the first road you drive is one you actually chose.
What Counts as an Exotic in Our Fleet
The word gets thrown around loosely, so here is exactly what sits in our Exotic tier and what each one is genuinely for. There are three, and they are deliberately very different from one another.
Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon
The 2018 G63, which is the generation that matters. Mercedes rebuilt the G properly that year for the first time since 1979: independent front suspension, a wider body and an S-Class cabin, while keeping the ladder frame, the three locking differentials and that unmistakable shape. It makes 430kW from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and reaches 100km/h in 4.5 seconds, which in a two-and-a-half tonne square object is a genuinely absurd experience.
Five real seats, a proper boot, and the highest recognition factor of anything we rent. If the point of the booking is arriving somewhere and being seen doing it, this is the car and nothing else is close.
Mercedes-AMG GT
A 2018 front-mid-engined coupe with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 making 350kW, rear-wheel drive, and the gearbox mounted over the rear axle for near-perfect balance. Two seats only. This is the driver's car of the three, and the one to book when the road between two places matters more than either place.
BMW M3 Competition G80 xDrive
The 2024 car at 390kW, all-wheel drive, 0-100 in 3.5 seconds. Four doors, five seats, a usable boot. It is quicker than the AMG GT and vastly more practical, and it is the one we recommend when someone wants an exotic experience without giving anything up.
Why Delivery to Bankstown Beats Collecting from the Airport
You get the whole rental period
A depot collection at Mascot from Bankstown costs you the drive out, the paperwork, and the drive back through Sydney traffic. That is comfortably two hours of a one-day hire spent on logistics. Delivery gives you those hours back.

The handover is calmer and more thorough
Airport counters are built for volume. Our handover is done standing beside the car with one person whose job is that booking. You get walked through the drive modes, the nose lift on the low cars, where the fuel filler releases and what the bond covers. On a vehicle that costs what these do, ten unhurried minutes matters.
No parking problem at either end
Collecting from a depot means leaving your own car somewhere for the duration. With delivery your car stays in your driveway and the hire car takes the street spot, or the other way around. It sounds small until you have paid airport parking for three days.
Late and early works
Weddings start early and formals finish late. Because the vehicle is brought to an address rather than released from a counter, timings outside normal depot hours are a scheduling question rather than an impossibility.
Where People Actually Drive Them From Bankstown
Bankstown sits in a genuinely good spot for this. You are close to the M5, close to the Georges River, and roughly an hour from three of the best driving roads in New South Wales.
South to the Royal National Park
Across Alfords Point Bridge, through Menai and into the park via the Audley entrance. Sir Bertram Stevens Drive is the road everyone means when they talk about the Royal: sealed, sweeping, shaded, and about forty minutes from Bankstown. Continue south and you come out near Stanwell Tops, where Bald Hill looks out over Stanwell Park and the Sea Cliff Bridge.
The Grand Pacific Drive and Sea Cliff Bridge
From Bald Hill the road drops down onto the Sea Cliff Bridge, which curves out over the water beneath the escarpment. It is the single most photographed stretch of road in the state and the reason a large number of our exotic bookings head south. Allow a full day if you want to continue to Kiama and the blowhole.
Southern Highlands via Picton and Razorback
West on the M5 then south through Camden to Picton, over Razorback and on to Berrima, Bowral and Moss Vale. Around ninety minutes each way. The road over Razorback is the good part: long, open, well-sighted corners that suit the AMG GT particularly.
North to the Old Pacific Highway
The longer run, but the classic one. Up through the city, over the Harbour Bridge and onto the old road between Berowra and the Hawkesbury River at Brooklyn. It is heavily policed and deservedly so, but the surface and the sequence of corners are outstanding.
Close to home
If you have the car for an evening rather than a day, the loop through Mirambeena Regional Park and along the Georges River, then out to Sydney Olympic Park and back along Parramatta Road, is a pleasant hour that shows the car off without committing to a full trip.
What People in Bankstown Book These For
Weddings
The G-Wagon is our most-booked wedding vehicle in the south-west, and the reason is practical rather than aesthetic. It is tall, so getting in and out in a gown is straightforward in a way it simply is not in a low coupe. It seats five, so the couple plus attendants travel together. And it photographs well against both the Georges River and the city skyline. Bankstown has a large number of reception venues within a short drive, and delivery to the getting-ready address rather than a depot removes an enormous amount of morning stress.
Formals
Year 12 formals are the other seasonal peak. Parents book, we deliver to the house, and the photos happen in the driveway before anyone leaves. Note that the driver still needs to meet our licence and age requirements, which for this tier are stricter than for the rest of the fleet, so this is generally a parent driving rather than the student.
Milestone birthdays and anniversaries
A weekend with the AMG GT or a day with the M3 is a common fortieth or fiftieth present. These usually run Friday to Sunday and pair well with a Southern Highlands or south coast trip.
Content, campaigns and photo shoots
Bankstown and the surrounding industrial areas around Chullora and Milperra have a lot of usable backdrops, and the airport perimeter roads photograph well in the late afternoon. Commercial shoots need to be declared on the booking so the right cover is in place.
Business and client work
The M3 xDrive is the sensible one here. Four doors, five seats, quick enough to be an event and discreet enough for a client meeting, and it will do a Sydney-to-Canberra run without complaint.
How Booking Works
1. Tell us the dates and the address
Enter the dates and your Bankstown address at checkout. The system confirms availability and any delivery fee before you pay rather than afterwards.
2. Identity and licence verification
Done in person at handover. You will need a full Australian or recognised overseas licence held for the required minimum period. Provisional licences are not accepted on exotics. Overseas licences not in English need an International Driving Permit alongside them.
3. Security bond
A refundable hold is placed on your card at pickup and released after the vehicle is returned and inspected. Exotic tier bonds are higher than the rest of the fleet. The exact figure is shown before you confirm the booking.
4. Handover and inspection
We photograph the vehicle with you present, walk through the controls, and confirm the fuel and kilometre position. The same happens on return, which is what makes the bond release straightforward.
5. Return
We collect from your address at the agreed time. No depot run at the end either.

If the G-Wagon is booked
We never move you down a tier. If your dates are taken, these are the exotic cars we will offer instead, and we will tell you plainly if none of them is free rather than substituting something lesser on the day.
Mercedes-AMG GT
- 350kW
- 4.0s
- RWD
- 2 seats
Front-mid-engined V8 and the sharpest driver of the three. Two seats only, so it will not carry a bridal party.
BMW M3 Competition xDrive
- 390kW
- 3.5s
- AWD
- 5 seats
Quicker than the AMG GT with four doors and a boot. The one that asks you to give up nothing.
Not sure which one?
Tell us the occasion and who is coming. We will tell you which of the three we would take.
Guide rates, weekday winter pricing. Longer hires taper; the exact total for your dates is shown before you pay.
The bond held on your card equals the excess of the cover you choose. It is a pre-authorisation, released after return.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you actually deliver to Bankstown?
Yes. Bankstown is one of the strongest coverage areas in our host network, along with the surrounding suburbs of Padstow, Revesby, Panania, Chullora, Milperra, Yagoona, Greenacre and Condell Park. Enter your address at checkout to confirm delivery and any fee.
Is delivery cheaper than collecting from Mascot?
There is a delivery fee and it is shown before you pay. Whether it is cheaper depends on what your time is worth and whether you would otherwise be paying for parking at the depot end. For a one-day hire, delivery is almost always the better value once the round trip is counted.
How far ahead should I book?
For a specific car on a specific date, as far ahead as you can. Wedding season and the October to November formal period book out first, and there are only three vehicles in this tier. For a weekend drive with flexibility on which car, a week or two is usually enough.
Can I take an exotic on a track day?
No. Circuit and track use is not permitted on any of our vehicles under any circumstances.
Is there a kilometre limit?
Yes, and it is stated on your booking before you pay. Additional kilometres are charged at a set rate rather than estimated after the fact.
Can I take it interstate?
With prior written approval, noted on the booking so the kilometre allowance and roadside cover are set correctly. We assess exotic interstate requests individually.
What happens if it rains?
The G-Wagon and the M3 are both all-wheel drive and are entirely comfortable in Sydney weather. The AMG GT is rear-wheel drive with substantial torque, so it asks for more care in the wet. If your dates look poor and you were leaning towards the GT, tell us and we will give you an honest recommendation.
Can someone else drive it?
Only if they are listed as an additional driver on the booking and meet the same licence, age and history requirements. An unlisted driver voids cover entirely, so this is not a rule we are flexible about.
What if I damage it?
Your liability is capped at the excess stated on your agreement, and the damage assessment is done against the handover photographs taken with you present. Usage charges such as fuel and excess kilometres sit outside that cap.
