Parramatta is different from every other suburb we write about, because we are actually here. This is one of our two physical depots, so you have a genuine choice: collect the car in person, or have it brought to your address. Most of Sydney only gets the second option. Here we will tell you honestly which one suits your booking.

Depot or Delivery: Which One You Actually Want

Because we have a physical site in Parramatta, this is the one suburb where collecting is
genuinely convenient rather than a compromise. That does not make it the right answer every time.

Collect from the depot when the handover matters

If it is your first time in a car like this, coming to us is better. There is space to walk
around the vehicle properly, time to sit in it before you move it, and someone on hand to run
through the drive modes, the nose lift on the low cars and the bond process without a driveway
full of neighbours watching. For a supercar or a first exotic booking, we recommend it.

Take delivery when the timing is the constraint

Weddings, formals and early departures are the obvious cases. If the car needs to appear at a
getting-ready address at seven in the morning, delivery is the only sensible answer. The same
applies if you are leaving straight for the Blue Mountains and a depot detour costs you the best
part of the morning light.

The western Sydney advantage nobody mentions

If you live anywhere from Westmead to Blacktown, Castle Hill, Merrylands or Granville, our
Parramatta depot is between fifteen and twenty-five minutes away. The equivalent trip to an
airport rental counter at Mascot is closer to an hour each way on the M4, and that is before the
Parramatta Road section. This is the single biggest practical reason western Sydney books with us
rather than a city operator.

The Exotic Fleet

Three cars sit in our Exotic tier. They are deliberately very different, and for a Parramatta
booking they suit quite different jobs.

Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon

The 2018 G63: 430kW from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds, five seats.
That was the year Mercedes redesigned the G properly for the first time since 1979, adding
independent front suspension, a wider body and an S-Class cabin while keeping the ladder frame
and three locking differentials.

In western Sydney this is overwhelmingly the wedding and formal car. Five seats, high enough
that getting in and out in formalwear is easy, and instantly recognisable in photographs.

Mercedes-AMG GT

Front-mid-engined 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, 350kW, rear-wheel drive, two seats, gearbox mounted
over the rear axle. The driver's car of the three. If your plan involves the Bells Line of Road
or the run out to Wisemans Ferry, this is the one to take.

BMW M3 Competition G80 xDrive

390kW, 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds, all-wheel drive, four doors, five seats. Quicker than the
AMG GT and far more usable. It is also the easiest of the three to park in Parramatta CBD, which
matters more than it sounds if you are staying in town.

The Roads West, Which Are the Real Reason to Book Here

Parramatta's genuine advantage is that you are already past the city. Everything worth driving
to the west and north-west is closer from here than from anywhere on the coast.

The Bells Line of Road

West on the M4 to Richmond, then up through Kurrajong Heights and along the Bells Line of Road
towards Bell and Mount Victoria. It is the better of the two Blue Mountains crossings by a
significant margin: quieter than the Great Western Highway, far more interesting, and with the
orchards and the Mount Tomah botanic garden on the way. Around ninety minutes to Bell.

The Putty Road

The serious one. North-west via Windsor to Colo Heights, then the long run through to Singleton.
The Putty is one of the best-known driving roads in New South Wales, largely deserted mid-week,
and it takes a full day to do properly. Fuel stops are sparse, phone reception is patchy in
sections, and it is worth telling us if this is your plan so we can confirm the kilometre
allowance suits it.

Wisemans Ferry and the Hawkesbury

North through Windsor along the Hawkesbury to Wisemans Ferry, with the option of the vehicular
ferry across the river. Around an hour each way, genuinely scenic, and considerably more relaxed
than the Putty. The road surface varies, so it suits the G-Wagon or the M3 better than the low
AMG GT.

The Old Northern Road to Wisemans

The alternative route out through Dural, Glenorie and Maroota. Sweeping, sealed and well-sighted,
and it avoids Windsor entirely. This is the one we would pick in the AMG GT.

Closer to town

If you only have the car for an evening, the loop through Parramatta Park, out along the river
to Rydalmere and back through Silverwater is a pleasant half hour, and the Parramatta Park gates
are a genuinely good photo backdrop at dusk.

What Western Sydney Books These For

Weddings

This is the largest single category for our Parramatta bookings by a wide margin. The reception
venues around Rosehill, Granville, Merrylands and Auburn take a very large number of weddings, and
the G-Wagon is the vehicle we send most often. Five seats means the couple and attendants travel
together rather than in convoy, and the height makes getting in and out in a gown straightforward
where a low coupe is a genuine struggle.

We deliver to the getting-ready address rather than making anyone collect on the morning, which
removes a real source of stress from an already compressed schedule.

Formals

The October to November formal season is intense in western Sydney and it books out earliest.
Note that the driver still needs to meet our licence and age requirements, which on this tier are
stricter than the rest of the fleet, so these bookings are generally a parent driving.

Milestone birthdays and anniversaries

Typically a Friday-to-Sunday booking paired with a Blue Mountains trip. The AMG GT and the
Bells Line of Road is the combination we recommend most often.

Corporate and client work

Parramatta CBD has a serious commercial district now, and the M3 Competition xDrive is the
sensible pick: four doors, five seats, quick enough to be an occasion and discreet enough to park
outside a client's office without comment.

Photography and content

Commercial shoots must be declared on the booking so the correct cover is in place. Standard
hire cover does not extend to commercial production, and that difference matters enormously if
something goes wrong on the day.

How Booking Works

1. Dates and address

Enter your dates and delivery address at checkout. Availability and any delivery fee are
confirmed before you pay, not after.

2. Licence and identity

Verified in person at handover. You will need a full Australian or recognised overseas licence
held for the required minimum period. Provisional licences are not accepted on this tier.
Overseas licences not in English need an International Driving Permit alongside them.

3. Security bond

A refundable hold is placed on your card at pickup and released once the vehicle is returned
and inspected. The exact figure is shown before you confirm the booking.

4. Handover and inspection

We photograph the vehicle with you present, walk through the controls and drive modes, and
confirm the fuel and kilometre position. The same happens on return, which is what makes the
bond release straightforward rather than a negotiation.

5. Collection

We collect from your address at the agreed time. No depot run at either end.

If the G-Wagon is booked

We never move you down a tier. If your dates are taken, these are the exotic cars we will offer instead, and we will tell you plainly if none of them is free rather than substituting something lesser on the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I collect from Parramatta rather than have it delivered?

Yes. Parramatta is one of our two physical depots, so in-person collection is a genuine option here rather than a compromise. For a first exotic booking we actually recommend it, because there is space and time to go through the car properly.

Do you deliver around Parramatta as well?

Yes, across Westmead, Harris Park, Granville, Merrylands, Rosehill, Rydalmere, Northmead, Baulkham Hills, Castle Hill and Blacktown among others. Enter your address at checkout to confirm delivery and any fee before you pay.

Is Parramatta closer than the airport for western Sydney?

Considerably. From Westmead, Blacktown, Castle Hill or Merrylands you are looking at fifteen to twenty-five minutes to our depot, against roughly an hour each way to Mascot on the M4. That difference is the main reason western Sydney books with us.

Which car suits the Blue Mountains?

For the Bells Line of Road, the AMG GT if the forecast is dry and the M3 if it is not. For anything involving unsealed sections or a fully loaded car, the G-Wagon. Tell us the route and we will give you a straight answer.

Can I take one on the Putty Road?

Yes, and people do. Tell us when you book so we can confirm the kilometre allowance covers it. Fuel stops are sparse and reception is patchy in places, so it is worth planning rather than improvising.

How far ahead should I book?

As far ahead as you can. There are only three cars in this tier and the wedding and formal seasons book out first in western Sydney. For a flexible weekend, a week or two is usually enough.

What if it rains?

The G-Wagon and the M3 are both all-wheel drive and entirely comfortable in Sydney weather. The AMG GT is rear-wheel drive with substantial torque and asks for more care, particularly on mountain roads. If your dates look wet, tell us and we will give you an honest recommendation rather than just taking the booking.

Can I take it on a track day?

No. Circuit and track use is not permitted on any of our vehicles under any circumstances.

Is there a kilometre limit?

Yes, and it is stated on your booking before you pay. Additional kilometres are charged at a set rate rather than estimated after the fact.

Can someone else drive it?

Only if they are listed as an additional driver on the booking and meet the same licence, age and history requirements. An unlisted driver voids cover entirely, so this is not a rule we are flexible about.

What happens if I damage it?

Your liability is capped at the excess stated on your agreement, and damage is assessed against the handover photographs taken with you present. Usage charges such as fuel and excess kilometres sit outside that cap.

Can I take it interstate?

With prior written approval, noted on the booking so the kilometre allowance and roadside cover are set correctly. We assess these requests individually.
