- Delivered across Sydney
- Bond and fees shown before you pay
- Never swapped to a lesser car
Nobody keeps a fleet of exotics in the middle of the Sydney CBD, and anyone who claims to is quietly running them from somewhere else. We will be straightforward about it: our nearest depot is Mascot, about eight kilometres south, and for a CBD booking we bring the car to you. Your hotel forecourt, your apartment building, your office. That is faster than any counter and considerably less painful than city parking.

Part of our exotic car hire Sydney guide.
Exotic hire, delivered into the CBD
Hotel forecourt, apartment building or office. Tell us the address and the time.
Why There Is No Depot in the CBD, and Why That Is Fine
Storing prestige vehicles in the middle of the city is enormously expensive and, for a customer,
adds nothing. You would still have to walk to a car park, take a lift to a level you do not know,
and drive out through a spiral ramp in an unfamiliar car. Delivery removes all of that.
Our nearest depot is Mascot
About eight kilometres south, close to the airport, roughly twenty minutes to the city outside
peak. We are saying that plainly because a business claiming a CBD address it does not have is
easy to disprove and tells you something about how it handles everything else.
City parking is the real problem, not the pickup
Secure overnight parking in the CBD runs to serious money, and a great many buildings have
height restrictions that a G-Wagon will not clear. If you are booking a car in the city, the
question is not where you collect it but where it sleeps. We will talk that through with you
before you book rather than leaving you to discover it at eleven at night.
Hotel handovers work well, with one caveat
Most CBD hotel forecourts are happy to accommodate a short handover, and concierge teams deal
with this constantly. A few will move you along quickly. Tell us where you are staying and we
will plan the handover accordingly, including using a nearby side street if the forecourt is
tight.
The Exotic Fleet, and Which One Works in the City
BMW M3 Competition G80 xDrive
We are listing this first because for a CBD booking it is usually the right answer. 390kW,
0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds, all-wheel drive, four doors and five seats. It fits in normal parking
spaces, it clears standard car park height limits, and it is the least stressful of the three to
thread through city traffic while still being genuinely quick.

Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon
The 2018 G63: 430kW, 4.5 seconds to 100km/h, five seats, and the most recognisable shape on
the road. It is superb for arrivals and events and it is our most-booked wedding vehicle. The
honest caveat for the CBD is height and width: check your building's clearance before you book,
and we will check it with you.
Mercedes-AMG GT
Front-mid-engined twin-turbo V8, 350kW, rear-wheel drive, two seats. The purest drive of the
three. In the city it is low, so ramps and speed humps need a slow angled approach, and it will
carry one passenger. Book it for the road rather than for the city itself.
Getting Out of the City Cleanly
The first fifteen minutes of a CBD booking are the worst fifteen minutes, and a little planning
removes most of it.
Pick your tunnel
Heading north, the Harbour Tunnel is usually calmer than the Bridge and puts you onto the
Warringah Freeway without the Bradfield Highway merge. Heading south or east, the Eastern
Distributor from Woolloomooloo is the fastest way out of the centre. The Cross City Tunnel is the
one people forget; it will take you from Darling Harbour to Rushcutters Bay in a few minutes and
skips the entire William Street crawl.
All of them are tolled
Every vehicle we supply is fitted for electronic tolling, so you do not need to arrange
anything. Tolls incurred during your hire are passed through at cost and itemised on your final
statement. We do not mark them up, and we do not charge an administration fee per toll.
Time your departure
Leaving the city between about 7am and 9.30am, or 4pm and 6.30pm on a weekday, will cost you
half an hour for no reason. If your booking starts on a weekday, take delivery mid-morning and
leave once the peak has cleared. We will schedule the handover around it if you tell us the plan.
Where to Actually Drive From the CBD
The city is a starting point rather than a destination for a car like this. Three good runs
begin within fifteen minutes of the centre.
North over the Harbour Bridge to the Old Pacific Highway
The classic. Over the bridge, up the Pacific Highway or the M1, and onto the old road between
Berowra and the Hawkesbury River at Brooklyn. Around forty-five minutes to the good part. It is
heavily policed and deservedly so, but the surface and the sequence of corners are the best
within an hour of the city.
East to Watsons Bay and The Gap
Through Kings Cross and Rushcutters Bay, along New South Head Road through Double Bay, Rose Bay
and Vaucluse to Watsons Bay. Twenty-five minutes, harbour views most of the way, and half a dozen
places worth stopping. This is the drive most CBD bookings do in the first hour.
South through the Royal National Park
Down the Princes Highway to Audley and onto Sir Bertram Stevens Drive: sealed, sweeping and
tree-shaded. Continue south to Bald Hill above Stanwell Park and the Sea Cliff Bridge, which is
the most photographed stretch of road in the state. Allow a full day.
West to the Blue Mountains
The M4 to Katoomba is about ninety minutes. The better version is to continue to Richmond and
take the Bells Line of Road instead of the Great Western Highway: quieter, more interesting, and
with far fewer tourist buses.
What CBD Bookings Are Usually For
Visitors and business travellers
The largest category. People staying in the city for a few days who want something worth
driving on the weekend in the middle of the trip. Delivery to the hotel is the whole appeal,
and it means no airport detour at either end.
Weddings and events
City ceremonies and receptions, and the run out to the eastern suburbs or the harbour. The
G-Wagon is the usual choice, with the caveat about building clearance.
Corporate and client work
The M3 is the sensible pick. Four doors, five seats, quick enough to make an impression and
restrained enough not to be a talking point when you would rather it was not.
Photography and content
The city has obvious backdrops and they are heavily used. Commercial shoots must be declared
on the booking so the correct cover is in place, because standard hire cover does not extend to
commercial production.
Milestone occasions
Birthdays and anniversaries, usually a single day or an overnight, often paired with the
Royal National Park or the Old Pacific Highway run.
How Booking Works
1. Dates and address
Enter your dates and delivery address at checkout. Availability and any delivery fee are
confirmed before you pay, not after.
2. Licence and identity
Verified in person at handover. You will need a full Australian or recognised overseas licence
held for the required minimum period. Provisional licences are not accepted on this tier.
Overseas licences not in English need an International Driving Permit alongside them.
3. Security bond
A refundable hold is placed on your card at pickup and released once the vehicle is returned
and inspected. The exact figure is shown before you confirm the booking.
4. Handover and inspection
We photograph the vehicle with you present, walk through the controls and drive modes, and
confirm the fuel and kilometre position. The same happens on return, which is what makes the
bond release straightforward rather than a negotiation.
5. Collection
We collect from your address at the agreed time. No depot run at either end.

If the G-Wagon is booked
We never move you down a tier. If your dates are taken, these are the exotic cars we will offer instead, and we will tell you plainly if none of them is free rather than substituting something lesser on the day.
BMW M3 Competition xDrive
- 390kW
- 3.5s
- AWD
- 5 seats
Quicker than the AMG GT with four doors and a boot. The one that asks you to give up nothing.
Mercedes-AMG GT
- 350kW
- 4.0s
- RWD
- 2 seats
Front-mid-engined V8 with the gearbox over the rear axle. The sharpest drive of the exotics, and strictly two seats.
Staying in a hotel?
Tell us which one. We know which CBD forecourts work for a handover and which ones will move you along, and we will plan around it.
Guide rates, weekday winter pricing. Longer hires taper; the exact total for your dates is shown before you pay.
The bond held on your card equals the excess of the cover you choose. It is a pre-authorisation, released after return.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a depot in the Sydney CBD?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. Our nearest depot is Mascot, roughly eight kilometres south and close to the airport. For CBD bookings we deliver the car to you, which is faster than any counter collection anyway.
Can you deliver to my hotel?
Yes, and we do it constantly. Tell us which hotel when you book. Most CBD forecourts accommodate a short handover without issue, and for the few that do not we will arrange a nearby side street instead.
Where do I park it overnight?
This is the real question for a CBD booking and it is worth sorting before you pay. Secure city parking is expensive, and many buildings have height limits a G-Wagon will not clear. Tell us where you are staying and we will tell you honestly whether your chosen car fits.
Will a G-Wagon fit in a city car park?
Often not. Height clearance in older CBD buildings is the usual problem rather than length. Check your building's posted clearance and send it to us, and we will confirm before you book rather than on the day.
Which car is easiest in city traffic?
The M3 Competition xDrive, comfortably. It is a normal-sized sedan with normal visibility, it clears standard car park heights, and it is still 390kW when you get out of town.
Do I need to worry about tolls?
Most Sydney motorways are tolled and the vehicle is fitted for electronic tolling. Tolls incurred during your hire are passed through to you at cost and itemised, not marked up.
Is delivery to the CBD cheaper than collecting from Mascot?
There is a delivery fee, shown before you pay. Given that collecting means getting yourself to Mascot and back, delivery is almost always the better value for a city booking, and it is not close if you are without a car in the city already.
How far ahead should I book?
As far ahead as you can for a specific car on a specific date. There are only three vehicles in this tier. For a flexible weekend, a week or two is usually enough.
Can I take it on a track day?
No. Circuit and track use is not permitted on any of our vehicles under any circumstances.
Is there a kilometre limit?
Yes, and it is stated on your booking before you pay. Additional kilometres are charged at a set rate rather than estimated after the fact.
Can someone else drive it?
Only if they are listed as an additional driver on the booking and meet the same licence, age and history requirements. An unlisted driver voids cover entirely, so this is not a rule we are flexible about.
What happens if I damage it?
Your liability is capped at the excess stated on your agreement, and damage is assessed against the handover photographs taken with you present. Usage charges such as fuel and excess kilometres sit outside that cap.
Can I take it interstate?
With prior written approval, noted on the booking so the kilometre allowance and roadside cover are set correctly. We assess these requests individually.
