- Delivered across Sydney
- Bond and fees shown before you pay
- Never swapped to a lesser car
Manly is the best supercar postcode in Sydney and the worst one to collect a supercar from. Three of the finest driving roads in the state start within twenty minutes of The Corso. Getting the car here in the first place means the Spit Bridge, Military Road and a tunnel, which is a genuinely miserable first hour in a two-seat mid-engined car. We do that part for you.

Part of our supercar hire Sydney guide.
Supercar hire, delivered to Manly
We bring it over the Spit so you do not have to. Tell us the dates and the address.
Why Nobody Should Collect a Supercar From Mascot
Delivery matters everywhere. On this side of the harbour, in a car with 120mm of ground
clearance, it stops being a convenience and becomes the whole proposition.
The route itself is hostile to a low car
Manly to the airport precinct means the Spit Bridge, the climb up Military Road through Mosman
and Neutral Bay, then the Harbour Tunnel and the Eastern Distributor. That is forty-five minutes
minimum, an hour at the wrong time, and almost all of it is stop-start traffic on surfaces with
frequent speed humps and steep driveway crossovers. It is the least enjoyable hour you could
possibly spend in a Huracan.
The bridge opens on a timetable
The Spit lifts for marine traffic on a published schedule and traffic backs up in both
directions when it does. If your collection window happens to land on an opening, you simply sit
there. We build the crossing and the bridge times into the delivery run, which is our problem
rather than an hour off your booking.
Peninsula driveways are steeper than people remember
Fairlight, Balgowlah Heights and the streets climbing away from Shelly Beach have short, sharp
driveway aprons that will catch a front splitter taken square on. Tell us the street when you
book. We look at it, and if it is genuinely marginal we will hand over on the flat rather than
pretend it will be fine.
Which One to Take From Manly
The choice here is decided by two roads. The Wakehurst Parkway is long, open and sweeping. McCarrs Creek Road is tight, tree-lined and has no run-off.

For the Wakehurst, the Huracan: the road is long enough to use the whole rev range, and the bushland holds damp, so all-wheel drive matters. For McCarrs Creek, the McLaren 650S if you are confident, because that chassis is made for it. For a full day up to Palm Beach and West Head with someone else and real luggage, the Ferrari FF is the only one that works.
The Three Roads That Justify the Booking
The Wakehurst Parkway
From North Manly through Garigal and Ku-ring-gai Chase bushland to Narrabeen. Sealed the whole
way, long sweeping corners, almost no side streets, and a surface that is generally excellent.
Fifteen minutes end to end. This is the road most Manly supercar bookings drive first and most of
them drive it more than once.
It is well patrolled, it floods in heavy rain, and there is genuine wildlife at dawn and dusk.
Drive it in daylight in the dry and it is one of the best roads in Sydney.
McCarrs Creek Road
North to Mona Vale, west through Church Point and along McCarrs Creek Road towards Terrey Hills.
Tighter, tree-lined, dropping to the water at Church Point with views across Pittwater. More
technical than the Wakehurst and narrower, which is why the McLaren suits it and why you want to
be well within your limits on a road with no run-off.
Barrenjoey Road to Palm Beach
The long coastal run north through Newport, Avalon and Whale Beach, with the option of turning
inland to West Head. Around forty-five minutes each way at a civilised pace, and the most
photogenic drive on this side of the harbour. Best in the FF if there are two of you.
North Head, if you only have the evening
Ten minutes out through Manly past the old quarantine station to the lookout, with the city
skyline across the water. Close, spectacular at sunset, and where most Manly bookings take their
first photographs.
What Manly Books These For
Milestone birthdays
The largest single category, and usually a full weekend rather than a day. The pattern is
consistent: Wakehurst on Saturday morning before the traffic, Palm Beach on Sunday.
Proposals
West Head and the Barrenjoey headland are both common. Tell us if that is the plan. Punctuality
and presentation matter more than usual on those bookings and we treat them accordingly.
Photography and content
Palm Beach, West Head and the North Head lookout are heavily shot locations and these cars work
hard at all three. Commercial shoots must be declared on the booking so the correct cover is in
place, because standard hire cover does not extend to commercial production.
Visitors home for a few weeks
A real share of Northern Beaches bookings are people back from overseas. Delivery to a family
address removes the one genuinely painful part of being without a car on this side of the Spit.
Getting a Low Car Around the Peninsula
Manly is not a big place, but the way it is built makes a real difference to a car with
120mm of clearance. A few specifics worth knowing before the handover.
The Corso and the beachfront
Avoid it at weekends entirely. It is slow, tightly parked, full of crossing pedestrians and
there is no photograph there worth the risk. If you want the beach in shot, shoot it from
North Steyne early instead.
The hill streets behind Fairlight
The climb from the harbour side up towards Balgowlah Heights has several crests where the
road changes gradient sharply. Take them straight and slowly rather than at an angle, because
the risk here is the underside rather than the splitter.
Parking at the northern end
Queenscliff and North Steyne have longer, flatter bays than anything near The Corso, and the
turnover is lower. If you are stopping for an hour, go north.
Where the good photographs actually are
North Head lookout at sunset with the city across the water, the Wakehurst Parkway itself in
the early morning when the light comes through the bushland sideways, and the West Head lookout
over Pittwater if you have gone that far. All three are quiet at the times that suit them.
Booking One
Dates and address at checkout, with availability and any delivery fee shown before you pay.
Tell us the street when you book so we can look at the driveway before the day, and tell us your
preferred time so we can build the Spit crossing into the run rather than into your booking.
Licence and identity are verified in person, the refundable bond goes on at pickup, and the car is
photographed with you there at handover and return.
The whole process is set out on our How It Works page.

If the Huracan is booked
We never move you down a tier. If your dates are taken, these are the supercar cars we will offer instead, and we will tell you plainly if none of them is free rather than substituting something lesser on the day.
McLaren 650S Coupe
- 478kW
- 3.0s
- RWD
- 2 seats
Carbon tub, dihedral doors and hydraulic steering. The sharpest chassis we own, and rear-drive, so it asks for respect in rain.
Ferrari FF
- 486kW
- 3.7s
- AWD
- 4 seats
A 6.3-litre V12 with four real seats and a usable boot. The only supercar here you can take on an actual trip.
Driving the Wakehurst?
Tell us the forecast you are expecting and we will tell you which of the three to take. It is not always the quickest one.
Guide rates, weekday winter pricing. Longer hires taper; the exact total for your dates is shown before you pay.
The bond held on your card equals the excess of the cover you choose. It is a pre-authorisation, released after return.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to worry about the ferry traffic?
Around the wharf at commuter times, yes. Manly is busiest on the roads feeding the ferry between about 7am and 9am and again after 5pm. Time your departure outside that and the run up to the Wakehurst is clear.
What are the age and licence requirements?
A full Australian or recognised overseas licence held for the required minimum period, plus additional minimum age and driving-history requirements specific to supercars. Provisional licences are not accepted. We confirm all of it at enquiry rather than at handover, so you are never told no on the day.
How much is the bond, and can I take it on a track?
The refundable bond is materially higher on supercars than the rest of the fleet and the figure is shown before you confirm. Track and circuit use is not permitted on any of our vehicles under any circumstances, and there is no version of the booking where it becomes permitted.
Do you deliver supercars to Manly?
Yes, along with Fairlight, Balgowlah, Seaforth, Freshwater, Queenscliff, Curl Curl, Dee Why and Narrabeen. Enter your address at checkout to confirm delivery and any fee before you pay.
Does delivery really avoid the Spit Bridge problem?
That is most of the point. We build the crossing and the bridge opening times into the delivery run, so it costs us time rather than costing you an hour of a booking in stop-start traffic in a two-seat car.
Which car for the Wakehurst Parkway?
The Huracan in the dry. It is naturally aspirated and all-wheel drive, and the Parkway is long enough to actually use the top of the rev range. If the forecast is poor, still the Huracan or the FF, both all-wheel drive, rather than the rear-drive McLaren.
Which car for McCarrs Creek Road?
The McLaren, if you are confident. It is tighter and more technical than the Wakehurst and the 650S chassis suits it. It is also narrow with no run-off, so it is not the road to find your limits on.
Will it clear my driveway?
The peninsula has some sharp driveway aprons, particularly around Fairlight and Balgowlah Heights. Send us a photo when you enquire. If it is marginal we hand over on the flat outside, which takes two minutes and avoids an expensive conversation.
Can four of us go to Palm Beach?
Only in the Ferrari FF, which has four real seats and a boot. The Huracan and the McLaren are strict two-seaters with room for a soft bag.
Is the Wakehurst safe at night?
We would rather you did not treat it as a driving road after dark. There is genuine wildlife on that stretch at dawn and dusk and it floods in heavy rain.
How long is the Wakehurst Parkway end to end?
About fifteen minutes from North Manly to Narrabeen at a legal pace. It is sealed the whole way with almost no side streets, which is exactly why it is the road people book these cars for on this side of the harbour.
Can I get to Palm Beach and back in an afternoon?
Yes. Around forty-five minutes each way up Barrenjoey Road through Newport and Avalon, with the option of turning inland to West Head for the lookout over Pittwater. It is the most photogenic run on the Northern Beaches.
Where do I keep it overnight?
Most Manly bookings use a home garage or driveway. Street parking near The Corso is metered, busy and not somewhere we would leave one of these. Tell us your situation when you enquire.
What if I damage it?
Your liability is capped at the excess on your agreement, assessed against the handover photographs taken with you present. Fuel and excess kilometres sit outside that cap. Any additional driver must be listed on the booking or cover is void.
